The Rosemary House is excited to offer this 10-month immersive herbalism course beginning in January 2027 and running through October 2027. This class, now in its 6th year, combines herbal pioneer and superstar Rosemary Gladstar's Science and Art of Herbalism Correspondence Material with Susanna Reppert's years of herbal experience. All participants will receive Rosemary's highly esteemed course (valued at $375). If you already own her course, we will happily deduct that from the cost of our program.
Practical Herbalism is the unique blend of extensive information and full sensory experience in the classroom and the garden. The Rosemary House which serves as the "campus" for this course is the not so silent teacher/partner in the program providing a venue that offers the herbs to see, touch, taste and smell while learning. A Way of Life Practical Herbalism Course teaches not just medicinal herbalism but dips into gardening, crafting, culinary and lifestyle tips with herbs.
About the Instructor: Susanna Reppert is a 6th generation herbalist eager to share her passion for herbs. In addition to being a student of Rosemary Gladstar's program and a graduate of David Winston's School of Herbal Therapeutics, she has a wealth of knowledge gleaned from 50 years behind the desk at The Rosemary House. Rosemary Gladstar whose course work will be the basis for the class, is a pioneer in the herbal movement and has been called the "godmother of American Herbalism". She is the founder of the California School of Herbal Studies, the oldest running school in the US and the author of the Science and Art of Herbalism at-home course. She is also the author of numerous books.
